Workshop Terms
Last updated: 3 September 2026
These terms explain how workshop requests, prices and materials work. They form part of the agreement once PLAI accepts your booking.
01Request and confirmation
Sending the form is an availability request, not a confirmed booking. We will confirm the date, start time, venue, expected duration and complete price by email.
A booking becomes confirmed only when PLAI accepts it in writing and receives the required payment to its UK bank account. Do not make non-refundable travel arrangements before confirmation.
02Workshop prices
- Cambridge: £95 per participant.
- Peterborough: £76 per participant.
- Oxford: £100 per participant.
- London: £110 per participant.
- Current student rate: £75 per eligible participant.
- Rings for Two: 10% off the selected city workshop subtotal for two people.
For another UK city, no fixed price is shown. We calculate a complete quote using the supplied location or postcode, venue requirements, workshop format and group size. We send and agree that complete price before payment or confirmation.
When a genuine seasonal offer is active, 5% is deducted from the workshop fee shown in the form. It applies after student and Rings for Two pricing, but not to travel or additional silver.
03Included silver and extra weight
The price includes up to 3g of silver per participant, measured only in that participant's finished silver piece.
This is not an allowance of raw material. If a finished piece weighs 2g, the remaining 1g is not owed as metal, refund, credit or material for another piece, and cannot be transferred to another participant. Reusable offcuts, filings and workshop scrap remain with PLAI.
If the finished design is expected to exceed 3g, we will explain the additional silver rate and estimated extra cost before the extra silver is used. We proceed only after the participant agrees. The final additional charge is based on finished silver weight above 3g.
04Student eligibility
The student rate is for a participant who is actively enrolled as a student on the workshop date. Each discounted participant must show valid, current student proof before the workshop begins. Expired evidence, alumni status or having studied in the past does not qualify.
We check the proof but do not retain or photograph it. If current eligibility cannot be shown, the difference to the relevant standard city rate becomes payable before participation.
05Age, safety and timing
Participants must be 18 or over. A participant aged 16–17 may attend only with a parent or legal guardian present throughout. The workshop normally lasts 1.5–3 hours depending on design complexity and group pace.
Participants must follow the safety guidance given by Dmytro and Olha and tell us before booking about accessibility needs or relevant circumstances so we can discuss reasonable arrangements.
06Cancellation and statutory rights
Our Cancellation Policy applies to cancellations, transfers and rescheduling. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.
